Jennifer Reichert is a playwright, actor, and producer. Her play Yukon Brass, developed in the CRY HAVOC Workshop, was a semi finalist in the Riant Strawberry One-Act Festival and her play, Just Julian, was featured in CRY HAVOC's Off The Leash reading series. Other works include Techs, Mikey Wears Braces, Bake Sale, Missionary Dating, and Twice Rather Perish (co-written with Kitt Lavoie). She has produced The Median Line, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, and CRY HAVOC's festival of new works …a new way to say it. She has also appeared on New York stages as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (with CRY HAVOC) and Abigail in The Crucible, as well as on film in The Sonnet Project. In addition, she is a molecular biologist investigating the genetics of autism. Jennifer is a member of the Professional Playwrights Workshop at The Players, an Associate Member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, and a member of the Resident Company at The CRY HAVOC Company, as well as serving as their Artistic Programs Coordinator.
